What Coffin Box Odds Actually Guarantee
The Coffin Box is a visible prize in the current Brawloween Challenge, but its most important rule is easy to misread. Supercell’s official odds page says a box contains ten draws and guarantees at least one premium reward. That guarantee concerns the reward category in the box, not a particular Brawl-o-ween skin, brawler or amount of Gems.
A box opening is a sequence of draws, not a single roll for one item. The official table lists chances for individual outcomes in the applicable draw pools. Common resources have much larger displayed percentages than rare character or progression awards. For example, the page lists 50 Coins and 50 Power Points at 15.88% each in the ordinary table, while a random Hypercharge is 0.09% and a random Legendary Brawler is 0.04%.
Those figures describe per-draw entries in their respective pools. Multiplying a single line casually by ten would give a misleading box-level estimate. At least one draw is premium, and eligibility or duplicate-conversion rules can affect what a particular account receives. The official support page is the place to verify the complete current table.
The page also shows premium outcomes such as a Brawl-o-ween Skin at 0.61% and 10 Gems at 0.44% in its displayed lines. Those are listed probabilities for specific results, not a promise that every Coffin Box contains either one. The word “premium” identifies a category of reward, not a guaranteed skin.

Why “one premium” needs careful reading
A guaranteed premium slot is a floor on reward type. It protects the box from being ten ordinary draws, but it does not define which premium result will appear. Players who open a Coffin Box after finishing the challenge should expect variation between accounts even when both openings follow the published rules.
The official table illustrates why. Resources such as 100 XP Doublers at 13.05%, 20 Bling at 8.70% and 30 Credits at 6.52% appear much more often in the ordinary pool than the rarest listed outcomes. Seeing several small resource rewards around a premium item can be consistent with the disclosure. It is not evidence that a promised item was withheld.
Duplicate handling adds another layer. If an account already owns an item that would otherwise be awarded, Supercell’s support material describes replacement rewards using Coins, Bling or Credits, depending on the category. That can make two accounts’ visible openings look different even when both boxes follow the same published odds.
This explanation is intentionally separate from the challenge guide. The guide answers how to reach the ninth win and earn a Coffin Box. This article answers what the official reward disclosure does and does not guarantee once the box is opened. Both are useful during the current event, but they address different player decisions.
The numbers are also time-bound. They were checked against the support page on October 9. If Supercell changes the reward table, the current official page should outrank a static article. No probability here is a forecast for a named player’s next box.
A better way to set expectations
Start with the structural rule: ten draws, at least one premium. Then read the row for any prize that interests you and note whether it belongs to the ordinary or premium pool. Finally, check what the game may substitute if you already own a reward. Those three questions are more informative than a blanket claim that the box is “good” or “bad.”
Players chasing a particular skin should be especially careful. The official disclosure does not turn the premium guarantee into a skin guarantee. The 0.61% Brawl-o-ween Skin line is a probability entry, not a certainty. A reward can be desirable while still being rare.
The most defensible conclusion is modest. A Coffin Box supplies ten chances and at least one result from the premium category under the stated rules. The exact combination remains random within the published pools. Anyone deciding how much effort to put into the challenge can weigh that structure against their own interest in the possible rewards.
- Each Coffin Box has ten draws and at least one premium reward.
- A premium reward is not a promise of a particular Brawl-o-ween skin.
- Read individual percentages as entries in their stated draw pools.

| Displayed item | Listed chance | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| 50 Coins | 15.88% | Ordinary draw entry |
| 50 Power Points | 15.88% | Ordinary draw entry |
| Random Hypercharge | 0.09% | Rare listed outcome |
| Brawl-o-ween Skin | 0.61% | Premium outcome, not guaranteed |
The Coffin Box guarantee is precise but limited: ten draws, with at least one premium result. Supercell’s own disclosure shows a broad spread between common resource rows and rare outcomes. Treating the premium floor as a guaranteed skin would misstate the rule, while treating every result as equally likely would ignore the table. The right expectation is a random mix governed by the official pools, subject to any duplicate substitutions described by Supercell. During the Brawloween event, that distinction helps players decide what the completion prize means to them without promises the odds page never made.
